David Saathoff
Chief Administrative Officer
David Saathoff is SEMATECH's Chief Administrative Officer, with overall responsibility for Account Management,
Communications, Finance, Human Resources, International Business
Development, Legal and Member Company Relations functions in the
consortium.
Saathoff joined SEMATECH in 1988 as manager of Planning and Control, and was a member of the start-up team for SEMATECH, the International 300 mm Initiative (I300I) and International SEMATECH. In 1995, he served as director of International Business Operations for SEMATECH and I300I, and served I300I specifically as its director of Business and Administration. He was director of International Business Development and Account Management before being named to his current position in 1999.
Saathoff has a background in corporate finance, investments and strategic planning. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin and did graduate work in general and international business at Harvard University.
